Dr Madhuni (Madi) HerathMBBS, BMedSc(Hons), MPH, FRACP

     

    Dr Madi Herath graduated from Monash University and completed her physician training through Monash Health. She then completed her specialist training in Endocrinology through Royal Hobart Hospital (TAS) and Monash Health (VIC) and was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She also completed an Andrology Fellowship through Monash Health, gaining further subspecialty experience in men’s health.

    Dr Herath has expertise in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease and is in the final year of her PhD through Monash University. She is a staff specialist at both Monash Health and Western Health Osteoporosis & Metabolic Bone Disease services and is a Honorary VMO at The Alfred Osteoporosis & Metabolic Bone Disease service. She has a keen interest in medical education and supervises junior medical staff research projects at Monash Health and Western Health and is also a Clinical Supervisor for the Royal Australasian College of Supervisors Basic Physician Training Program and Endocrine Advanced Training Programs at Monash Health.
