Dr Raymond Dharmaputra is a Consultant Endocrinologist and has an interest in all aspects of general endocrinology and diabetes.
Dr Dharmaputra completed his medical degree at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland and was awarded Master of Medicine in Metabolic Health from the University of Sydney. He has trained locally in Melbourne at Monash Health including Monash Medical Centre, the Victorian Heart Hospital, Casey Hospital and Dandenong Hospital.
To broaden his clinical experience and explore Australia, he has also worked extensively interstate, including at the Gold Coast University Hospital, Cairns Base Hospital, Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals, Mackay Base Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital (Brisbane).
At Monash Health, he served as an Endocrinology Fellow, caring for patients living with diabetes (Type 1 and 2), resistant hypertension and lipid disorders with a focus on cardiovascular disease prevention.
He has also contributed to medical student training as a former Associate Lecturer at the Flinders University medical program.
His approach is compassionate, personalised, collaborative and comprehensive, with a focus on high-quality care that informs, involves, and supports patients throughout their healthcare journey.
